Week 7 and only 9 days to go til Elder Matt Boonmee leaves for Bangkok, Thailand. He can't wait to finally get out to the field. He's been keeping himself busy studying and enjoying his stay at the MTC, as you can tell from the photos. As the district leader, he hasn't had a lot of time write but here is a thought he shared with us: "I learned a lot of the importance of family this week. The only way to receive all of God's gifts is by having a family. Sadly, the world is slowly falling away from the idea of marriage and families. I can't imagine what it will be like when I return home. We have to defend our faith, and our ideas on what is right. We are defending God's commandment and it puts us off from the world. I am willing to leave my family for 2 years so I can help other families live together for an eternity."
